About Us

The UL Raising & Giving Society Was established officially on the 6th February 2012 when we were
ratified at the UL Wolves Clubs & Societies council meeting. The society is part of RAG Ireland, a
national organisation that aims to oversee the implementation of a RAG Society in every college in Ireland
by 2020.

The aim of the society is to usher in a new era of student involvement and engagement in volunteering,
fundraising and community based social projects by creating and making accessible to them a platform
to be the instigators of their own social initiatives.

We want to hand the power back to students in social innovation and to help shape them in to the future
social leaders of tomorrow. It is an entirely student led initiative and has already gained great support from
UL, ULSU and the wider Limerick Region.
